WBB: No. 6 LSU Routs McNeese 133-44

Box Score BATON ROUGE— No. 6 LSU women's basketball scored a school record points in a 133-44 blowout win over McNeese Tuesday night.  
 
The Cowgirls were able to keep the game close for the first couple of minutes of the game when Alva Mofalk's three-pointer tied the game at 10 apiece.  LSU's defense amped up to cause the Cowgirls to turn the ball over 24 times in the first half and outscored the Cowgirls 62-12 in the half including 30-0 in the second quarter.  McNeese ended the game with a season high 36 turnovers.
 
LSU (10-1) opened the second half like it ended the first half, by holding McNeese (3-7) scoreless for the first two minutes of the quarter when Emilia Tenbrock's layup ended a 14-minute Cowgirl scoring drought.
 
Mofalk and Tenbrock both led the Cowgirls in scoring with 12 points while LSU placed five players in double figure scoring with Aalyah Del Rosario leading the Tigers with a career high 27 points.  
 
McNeese will return home Thursday to host Centenary and Tarleton State on Saturday.

• Back and forth for the first six minutes of the quarter
• Mofalk's three-pointer tied the game at 10 apiece with 3:54 to play in the quarter
• LSU then went on a 22-2 run to end the quarter to lead 32-12
 
2nd Quarter
• LSU continued their scoring run in the second quarter, outscoring the Cowgirls 30-0 in the quarter to lead 62-12 at the half
• The Cowgirls turned the ball over 24 times in the half, allowing LSU to score 31 of  
 
3rd Quarter
• McNeese ended a 14-minute scoring at the 8:19 mark in the third quarter on an Emilia Tenbrock layup
• LSU outscored the Cowgirls 38-12 in the quarter to lead 100-27 at the end of the period
 
4th Quarter
• LSU outscored McNeese 33-17 in the fourth quarter
