Bailey Tillman and
Carissa Chainey have been named to the 2023 CSC (College Sports Communicators) Academic All-District team, the organization announced Tuesday.
The team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Chainey was selected as a CSC Academic All-America finalists and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First, second, and third team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Jan. 9, 2024.
Chainey, the native of Middleton, Idaho posted a 3.87 GPA in Health and Human Performance while Tillman, the native of Sugar Land, Texas posted a 3.80 in Mass Communication.
