LAKE CHARLES- McNeese women's basketball returns home for its next three games to close out the month of December beginning with Thursday night's game against Centenary. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. at the Legacy Center.

McNeese (3-7) has won the last six meeting against Centenary and will look to bounce back following a 133-44 loss at No. 6 LSU on Tuesday. The Cowgirls will remain home to host Tarleton State at 1 p.m. Saturday then will break for the Christmas Holiday.Â

Following the break, the Cowgirls will host Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Dec. 31 before opening Southland Conference play at Northwestern State on Jan. 4.

Emilia Tenbrock (12.0 ppg.) leads the Cowgirls in scoring while
Julia Puente leads the team with 5.3 rpg.

Centenary (1-9) has lost its last five games after picking up its only win of the season, an 80-69 win over Hendrix on Nov. 25. The Ladies are coming off a 75-48 loss at St. Thomas on Tuesday.
