WBB: Cowgirls Travel To UNO Saturday

LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's basketball will travel to New Orleans Saturday to face UNO in the first meeting of two this season.  Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. at the Lakefront Arena.
 
McNeese (9-14, 6-6 SLC) will look to bounce back from a 72-64 home overtime loss to Southeastern on Thursday while UNO (5-16, 4-8 SLC) will look to win its second game in a row after defeating Nicholls 83-68 on Thursday.
 
 
NOTES
- UNO holds a 26-16 series record over McNeese but the Cowgirls has won three of the last four including the last two games last season.
- McNeese is coming off a 72-64 overtime home loss against Southeastern on Thursday
- McNeese continues to lead the league in scoring in conference games, averaging 66.4 ppg. The Cowgirls also lead the league with a 45.7 field goal percent, assists (15.0), steals (10.2), and is second in defensive rebounds (26.5).
- Paris Mullins continues to lead McNeese in scoring (9.7 ppg.).
- Divine Tanks continues to lead the team with 5.9 rpg. overall and is averaging 6.1 rpg. in conference games. Tanks is fourth in the league with a 51.6 field goal percent in conference games. She moved into fourth place in McNeese career rebound leaders with 10 against Southeastern.
- Desirae Hansen leads the league with a 46.2 three-point field goal percent in SLC games. Hansen off
a 13 point game against Southeastern where she recorded her 1500th career point.
