LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's tennis (5-1) will host Louisiana-Monroe (2-7) this Friday (11 a.m.) at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center.

The Cowgirls, who have had their last two matches postponed due to inclement weather will look to get back into the win column following its first loss of the season, a 4-0 loss against Wyoming on Feb. 10.

The Cowgirls' match against Alcorn on Wednesday was eventually postponed due to rain delays and darkness.

Maria Wang Martinez leads the Cowgirls with five wins (5-1), seeing action at the No. 3-5 spots.Â
Ariane Monlleo Sanchis is 4-1 on the year playing her matches at the No. 4-6 spots.  Martinez and Sanchis are 3-0 as the Cowgirls' No. 2 doubles team.

ULM (2-7) has lost five of its last six matches and are coming off a 4-3 loss to Northwestern State on Tuesday. The Warhawks' wins have come against Missouri State and Stephen F. Austin.
