HAMMOND – McNeese will visit Southeastern on Saturday with just two games remaining in the regular season.
Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 at the University Center. The game will broadcast live on ESPN3 and also on the McNeese Radio Network (92.1 FM and mymagiclc.com).
SERIES VS. SLU:
• 121st all-time meeting.
• McNeese leads 68-52.
• The Cowboys defeated the Lions 69-66 back on Feb. 9 in Lake Charles to snap a four-game losing streak.
• McNeese is 4-6 at SLU the last 10 games.
• The Cowboys lost 91-86 the last time played in Hammond, Feb. 10, 2022.
LAST TIME OUT:
• McNeese dropped an 85-80 contest at HCU on Thursday night.

Christian Shumate led the way with 26 points and 11 rebounds to record his league-leading 11
th double-double on the season and 16
th in his career.
• The Cowboys had a chance to tie the game with less than a minute to play but Robet Berze's three-pointer bounced off the rim and HCU was able to grab the rebound and hit a couple of free throws to put the game away.
TOURNAMENT CHASING:
• The Cowboys are tied with Lamar and UIW at 5-11 in league play and in a tie for the eighth and final spot for the postseason tournament.
• McNeese will host UNO on Wednesday in the finale in a game that could decide a spot.
• Lamar hosts UNO on Saturday and is at Nicholls on Wednesday while UIW hosts A&M-Commerce on Saturday and will visit Northwestern State on Wednesday.
