LAKE CHARLES – McNeese women's basketball will look to get back on track Saturday when the Cowgirls travel to Commerce, Texas to face Texas A&M-Commerce for only the second time in program history. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+. Bruce Merchant will have the radio call on 1470 AM.
McNeese (8-13, 5-5 SLC) is coming off a 79-48 home loss at the hands of Lamar on Thursday while A&M-Commerce's scheduled home game against Nicholls was postponed due to weather. The Lions enter Saturday's game in second place in the SLC standings with a 9-12 overall record and 7-2 conference record.
NOTES
- It's the second meeting of the season with the Lions defeating the Cowgirls 79-71 in Lake Charles on Jan. 7
opener on Dec. 31.
- McNeese is coming off a 79-48 home loss at the hands of Lamar. It was the second loss to Lamar
this season.
- McNeese continues to lead the league in scoring in conference games, averaging 65.8 ppg. The Cowgirls also lead the league with a 44.9 field goal percent, assists (15.0), steals (9.5), and is fourth in
rebounds (36.5).

Paris Mullins continues to lead McNeese in scoring (10. ppg.). Mullins has scored in double figures in four of the last six games and is coming off an 11 point game against Lamar.

Divine Tanks continues to lead the team with 5.6 rpg. overall and is averaging 5.5 rpg. in conference
games. Tanks leads the league with a 58.5 field goal percent in conference games.
