BATON ROUGE—McNeese women's tennis won its third straight match and fifth out of it last six matches with a 5-2 win over Bradley in a match that was played in Baton Rouge.
With the win, McNeese improves to 10-2 on the year. The 10 wins is the most by a Cowgirl team since the 2018-19 season when that team won 11 matches.
Bradley (4-7) held a 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point but the Cowgirls won five of the six singles matches in straight sets to claim the match.
With the win at the No. 5 court,
Maria Wang Martinez improves to 11-1 on the season while Emma-Loui Pommiers,
Heta Nuutinen, and
Ariane Monlleo Sanchis all won their seventh match of the season.
McNeese will travel to Loyola (La.) on Friday, March 17 for a 12 p.m. match before beginning Southland Conference play at home against UNO on Friday, March 24.
