LORMAN, MS - McNeese soccer (0-2-0) will take to the road once again to play Alcorn (0-2-0) and Louisiana Tech (1-1-0) this weekend on Friday and Sunday respectively. The matchup Friday is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. in Spinks-Casem Stadium and Sunday's begins at 1 p.m. at Robert Mack Caruthers Field.

"We don't know a ton about Alcorn as we don't have video from the first couple of matches and they have a new head coach," said head coach Drew Fitzgerald. "We expect they'll be excited to be playing at home and will be energetic and organized."

McNeese hasn't matched up with either team since the 2021 campaign when the Cowgirls had a program record-tying 13 victories. Both were shutout victories as well for the blue and gold.

Fitzgerald continued on to say, "Louisiana Tech is a team that likes to own possession and methodically break down opponents. It should be a great measuring stick for how far we've come since our exhibition match versus ULM."

McNeese Notes
- McNeese holds a 2-0 advantage all-time against Alcorn with a 5-5 mark against Louisiana Tech.
- Jackie Kelly, a junior, has racked up 11 saves on the season to bring her career total to 104.
