LAKE CHARLES- McNeese volleyball opens its season this weekend at the Auburn War Eagle Invitational with the first weekend of play ending with a match at No. 19 Houston on Sunday.

The Cowgirls will face Coppin State at 10 a.m. and Jacksonville State at 2:30 p.m. Friday. Saturday's schedule has the Cowgirls taking on host Auburn at 10 a.m.

After returning from Auburn, a quick turnaround has the Cowgirls traveling to face Houston for a 5 p.m. match.

The Auburn match will be streamed via SECN+ on ESPN+ and the Houston match will be streamed via Big12 NOW on ESPN+.

McNeese returns five players from a year ago including junior
Bailey Tillman, an AVCA All-Region selection and sophomore
Sanni Rantanen, the Southland "Freshman of the Year" along with senior Neja Hanic and juniors
McKenzie Moore and
Kendall Osgood. Second year head coach Sasha Karelov has 10 newcomers including six freshmen.
