Bailey Tillman has been named this week's Southland Conference Volleyball "Defensive Player of the Week", the league announced Monday. The honor makes this the third straight week a Cowgirl has earned the weekly honor.
The native of Sugar Land, Texas is coming off a week where she led McNeese in digs with 41 for an average of 5.86 per set in wins over UL-Monroe and New Orleans.
Tillman began her week by collecting 28 digs, one shy of tying her season high in the win over ULM last Tuesday. She finished the week with 13 in the win over UNO last Saturday to give her 983 career digs.
