LAKE CHARLES - The 10th annual "Diamond Dinner" recognizing McNeese baseball and softball is set to take place January 26 at the Treasures of Marilyn with doors set to open at 6 p.m.

As the celebration to kick off both team's seasons, there will begin with a social hour from 6-7 p.m. Dinner will be served around 7 p.m. and those in attendance will get to hear from baseball head coach Justin Hill and softball head coach James Landreneau. The coaches will give a preview of the season with a live auction set to follow afterward.

There will also be a silent auction for those in attendance. A raffle is scheduled for the event with 10 prizes available, stemming from $500 for the first ticket to a grand prize of $2,000.

All proceeds from the event will go toward helping the student-athletes and their programs.

There are four levels of reserved tables for the event:

• Single ($1,000) - Reserved table for 8 attendees, gift for table purchaser, and name on display.
• Double ($2,500) - Reserved table for 8 attendees, gift for table purchaser, name on display and the following: Bottle of Bourbon and Pistol for the Table Purchaser.
• Triple ($5,000) - Reserved table for 8 attendees, name on display, bottle of Bourbon, pistol for the table purchaser and the following: Waitress for the Table, Shotgun for the Table Purchaser, Two Season Tickets for all McNeese 2024 Spring Sporting Events, Two MAF Memberships for 2024 Spring Season
• Home Run ($10,000) - Reserved table for 8 attendees, name on display, bottle of Bourbon, pistol for the table purchaser, waitress for the table, shotgun for the table purchaser, two Season Tickets for all McNeese 2024 spring sporting events, two MAF Memberships for 2024 spring season and the following: Your Choice Of: Argentina Dove Hunt for 5 People OR African Safari for 2 Hunters and 2 Non-Hunters OR Title Sponsor for Diamond Dinner (One Spot Available)
