 LAKE CHARLES- McNeese women's basketball will remain home to host preseason favorite Southeastern at 1 p.m. Saturday in the first game of a Southland Conference doubleheader with the Cowboys.
 
McNeese (4-12, 0-3 SLC) is coming off an 82-50 loss to Lamar on Thursday night that saw Emilia Tenbrock lead all players with 25 points.  Tenbrock currently leads the Cowgirls in scoring with 15.4 ppg.  Mireia Yespes leads McNeese with 5.1 rpg. and is also averaging in double figures with 10.3 ppg.
 
Southeastern (7-7, 3-0 SLC), is one of two undefeated teams in conference play.  Lamar is also 3-0 in the SLC.
 
The Lady Lions are coming off a slim 61-58 home win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Thursday.
 
Hailey Giaratano leads the Lady Lions in scoring (11.9 ppg.) and assists (3.1 apg.). Cheyanne Daniels is averaging 10.5 ppg. and Taylor Bell leads the team with 4.9 rpg.
