LAKE CHARLES—McNeese head beach volleyball coach Yasmin Tan has released the programs inaugural schedule with the season beginning with its own Cowgirl Beach Bash set for February 23-24 which is also the season opener.  The tournament will take place at South Beach which will serve as Cowgirls' home courts.  The complete schedule can be found on mcneesesports.com.
 
The Cowgirls will also take part in five other regular season tournaments before ending the regular season with the Southland Conference Tournament in Houston, Texas April 19-21.
 
McNeese will face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23 in its inaugural match and will conclude the first day of the tournament with a 5 p.m. match against Tarleton State.  The Cowgirls will face Cal Poly at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24 before concluding the tournament with a 5 p.m. match against Nicholls.
 
The Cowgirls will also take part in tournaments at Stephen F. Austin, Southeastern, UL-Monroe, a midseason SLC Tournament hosted by New Orleans and will end the regular season at a Tulane Tournament.  The Southland Conference Tournament is set for April 19-21 in Houston, Texas and will be hosted by Houston Christian.
