LAKE CHARLES- McNeese women's basketball returns home for its next three games beginning with Thursday's 7 p.m. contest against Northwestern State. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and Live Stats will be available.

McNeese (4-15, 0-6 SLC) is still looking for its first conference win of the season as well as its first Division I win of the season.

The Cowgirls, who are second in the SLC in scoring (67.9 ppg.) but are also giving up the most points (82.4 ppg.) are coming of a 67-55 road loss at Incarnate Word last Saturday.

Emilia Tenbrock, who scored her 1,000
th point against Incarnate Word leads the conference with 16.0 ppg. (21.3 ppg in SLC games), has scored in double figures in four out of the last five games, scoring at least 20 points in each contest.

Mireia Yespes is also scoring in double figures (10.6 pp.) and leads the team with 5.1 rpg.

NW State (7-10, 3-3 SLC) will look to pick up its second win of the season over the Cowgirls after a Southland Conference opening 78-54 win in Natchitoches on Jan. 4.

The Demons are coming off a 72-43 road win at New Orleans last Saturday that snapped a two -game losing streak. The win was the largest conference margin of victory win for the Demons in the last 10 years.
