LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball (7-11, 3-3 SLC) returns home this weekend to host Houston Christian (6-11, 3-3 SLC) Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and Incarnate Word (9-7, 2-4 SLC) at 1 p.m. Saturday.  Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+ and admission is free to all home matches.
 
McNeese enters Thursday's match tied for fifth place with HCU while UIW is in an eighth-place tie heading into its Thursday match at Nicholls.

The Cowgirls will conduct a one hour clinic on Saturday, October 19 following its 1 p.m. Camper Appreciation match against Incarnate Word at the Legacy Center.
 The clinic is free and open to all athletes in the 6^th grade or below and a waiver is required to participate. Individuals may sign up HERE or at on the volleyball page on mcneesesports.com.

MATCH NOTES
• Enter the week against Houston Christian and Incarnate Word tied for fifth place with HCU at 3-3 in the SLC.  UIW enters its Thursday match at Nicholls tied for eighth place.
• It will be the first and only regular season SLC match against both HCU and UIW
• The Cowgirls are coming off a 2-1 record last week with wins over Nicholls and UNO before ending the week with a loss at Southeastern last Saturday.
• Senior McKenzie Moore continues to lead the team and the SLC in kills with 267 for an average of 4.31 per set.  She also ranks sixth in blocks in the SLC with 60.
• Moore is also second on the team in blocks with 39 and third in digs with 156.
• Senior Bailey Tillman leads the team and ranks second in the SLC in digs with 283 for an average of 4.56 per set.
• Megan Grose continues to lead the team with 329 assists and ranks 10th in the SLC.
• Naterah Moore leads the Cowgirls with 60 blocks, ranking her sixth in the SLC.
• Return five players return from last season
• Have 12 newcomers including four freshmen
