LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball (7-13, 3-5 SLC) will travel to Edinburg, Texas for a rare noon match on Thursday against UTRGV (10-8, 6-2 SLC) before heading to Corpus Christi, Texas Saturday for a 1 p.m. match at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (11-8, 6-2).
 
The Cowgirls enter the weekend in seventh place.  UTRGV and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi enter the weekend tied for third place.
 
 
MATCH NOTES
• It will be the first and only regular season SLC match against both UTRGV and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
• Both UTRGV and TAMU-CC rank first or second in the SLC in hitting percent, kills, and assists
• The Cowgirls will look to snap a three-match losing streak after last week's home losses to Houston Christian and Incarnate Word
• Senior McKenzie Moore continues to lead the team and the SLC in kills with 305 for an average of 4.36 per set. 
• Junior Netarah Moore leads the team and ranks ninth in the SLC with 64 blocks
• Senior Bailey Tillman leads the team and ranks second in the SLC in digs with 340 for an average of 4.86 per set.
• Tillman moved into third place in McNeese career digs against UIW on Saturday.  She has 1,707 career digs and is 44 shy of moving into second place.
• Sophomore Megan Grose continues to lead the team with 345 assists.
