LAKE CHARLES—McNeese head women's basketball coach Lynn Kennedy announced the signing of 6'0" guard Arianna Jennings as the first Cowgirl signee for the 2025-26 season.
 
The native of Killeen, Texas who attends Harker Heights High, is the 38th ranked overall prospect and one of the Top 10 wings in the state of Texas.
 
Jennings narrowed her final choices down to McNeese, Ohio, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi before choosing to sign with the Cowgirls.
 
She was also heavily recruited by Southland members Nicholls, New Orleans, and East Texas A&M along with Texas State, Southern Miss and UL-Lafayette.
 
Jennings is currently averaging 23.3 ppg., 8.2 rpg., 9.1 apg., and 4.0 spg.  As a junior, she averaged 17.7 ppg., 6.4 rpg., 4.4 apg., and 3.5 spg. as well as being named to the all-district team.
