Bailey Tillman moved into second place in McNeese career digs Saturday in a 3-1 (25-19, 21-25, 25-22, 25-14) win over Northwestern State. Tillman ended the day with a match high 23 digs to give her 1,761 career digs.

The win was a big win in as it snapped a five-match losing streak and could come into play in determining a possible Southland Conference spot in the coming weeks.

The Cowgirls improved to 8-15 overall and 4-7 in the SLC while NW State falls to 7-13 overall and 2-9 in the SLC.

Senior McKenzie picked up her seventh double double of the season by collecting a match high 23 kills to go along with 16 digs.Â

Lacie Schooley added 11 kills and
Kendall Osgood was credited with 17 digs.

Megan Grose and
Corynne Hausler both dished out double digit assists. Grose led the team with 23 and Hausler ended with 19.

As a team, the Cowgirls collected six service aces.Â
Rory Schuler led McNeese with a career high three aces.Â

The Cowgirls' defense made a huge impact in the outcome by turning back 14 blocks.Â
Naterah Moore led all players with five blocks.
