LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball (9-15, 5-7 SLC) will continue its three-match week when the Cowgirls travel to second place Stephen F. Austin (18-7, 10-2 SLC) Thursday night for a 6 p.m. match.  The Cowgirls will conclude their week with a key Southland Conference match at Lamar on Saturday.  First serve is set for 1 p.m.
 
Thursday's match will be the second meeting against the Ladyjacks this season.  The teams met at the Stephen F. Austin Tournament on Sept. 21 with SFA winning the match in straight sets.  The two teams will close out the regular season with a match in Lake Charles on Nov. 16.
 
Saturday's match against Lamar (12-12, 4-8 SLC) could have Southland Conference Tournament implications heading into the final week of the regular season.  Lamar will face Nicholls on Thursday before the Cowgirls on Saturday.
 
MATCH NOTES
• It's the second of three matches this week for the Cowgirls
• McNeese will conclude its week at Lamar Saturday, the first of two matches against the Cardinals this season.  The teams will meet in Lake Charles on Nov. 14.
• The Cowgirls enter the weekend in 8th place following its 3-0 road win at Nicholls on Tuesday.
• Thursday's match at SFA will be the second of the season. The teams met for the first time this season on Sept. 21 at the SFA Tournament.  Both teams will meet again in Lake Charles on Nov. 16 in the regular season finale.
