LAKE CHARLES-  McNeese women's basketball will travel to Thibodaux Saturday to face Nicholls in a 1 p.m. game that will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
McNeese  (4-21, 0-12 SLC) is coming off a  74-67 home loss to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi last Saturday while Nicholls (11-13, 5-7 SLC) has lost its last two games and are coming off an 80-78 road loss at New Orleans.

• It's the first of two meetings.  The two team will meet in Lake Charles on March 2, the Cowgirls' home finale.
• McNeese leads the all-time series 63-26 and have won the last four meetings including a 63-53 win in Thibodaux last season
• McNeese is coming off a 74-67 home loss to Texas A&M-Corpus Chisti last Saturday.
• McNeese will look to snap a 14 game losing streak
• McNeese has also loss 16 of its last 17 games.
• Looking for its first Division I win of the season as well as its first road win of the season.
• McNeese continues to rank second in the SLC in scoring (65.9 ppg.) but are giving up the most points (80.3) per game.
• McNeese ranks fourth in the SLC with a 29.2 three-point FG%, fifth with a 71.6 free throw percent, 3-point FG made (5.1), and steals (8.3), sixth in assists (12.0), field goal percent (38.3), and 8th in rebounding (36.1)
• Tenbrock leads the SLC in scoring (15.2 ppg.) and 3-point field goal percent (43.8), ranks second in free throw percent (86.8), and sixth in 3-point field goals per game (1.6)
• Yespes is also averaging in double figures with 10.3 ppg. Yespes ranks fourth in the SLC with a 50.3 field goal percent.
• Julia Puente leads the Cowgirls in rebounds (5.2 rpg.)
• Boston Berry leads McNeese and is fourth in the SLC with 3.0 assists per game
