LAKE CHARLES – McNeese softball returns to Cowgirl Diamond this week to host Boise State on Wednesday in a midweek game before hosting the Cowgirl Classic II on the weekend.  Wednesday's first pitch is set for 6 p.m. 
The Cowgirl Classic II will kick off Friday with four games and will conclude with two games on Saturday.  The Cowgirls will take on Niagara at 11 a.m. and North Dakota at 6 p.m. Friday.  Saturday's schedule has the Cowgirls closing out the tournament with a 1:30 p.m. game against Niagara.

McNeese Notes
• It's the third and final of three consecutive tournaments the Cowgirls will host
• Enter Wednesday's game with a 6-4 record
• Coming off a 2-2 record last weekend at its Cowgirl Challenge with its losses coming against No. 1 Oklahoma
 • Corine Poncho leads the team with a .480 batting average, 1.1240 slugging percent, 12 hits, six home runs, and 14 runs scored
• Samantha Mundine (.421), Emily Phillips (.400), Rylie Bouvier (.368) are all batting over .300
• Mundine leads the team with 10 RBI
• Delaney Dunham leads the team with seven walks and four stolen bases
• In the circle, Ryan Schexnayder (2-0) and Shaelyn Sanders (2-2) both lead the team in wins
