LAKE CHARLES— McNeese women's tennis will hit the road this weekend for a Friday 1 p.m. match at Stephen F. Austin and a 1 p.m. match at Southern on Saturday.
 
McNeese is off to a program best start in its first 10 matches, is 9-1 following its win at Sam Houston last Saturday.  The Cowgirls will carry a seven-match winning streak into the weekend.
 
Anastasija Adeikyte heads into the weekend undefeated at 8-0 while Emma-Lou Pommiers is 8-1 on the season.  Adeikyte and Arina Gamretkaia lead the doubles with a 9-1 record as the no. 1 doubles team.
 
Stephen F. Austin (6-2) is coming off a 4-0 home loss to Texas State last Saturday.  Southern (1-2) will face Southeastern Thursday before the Cowgirls on Saturday.
