LAKE CHARLES-  McNeese women's basketball returns home this Saturday to host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.  Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. at the Legacy with the game streaming on ESPN+. 
 
McNeese (4-20, 0-11 SLC) will look to snap its 13-game losing streak following its 56-51 road loss at Houston Christian Thursday night.
 
Emilia Tenbrock continues to lead the Cowgirls and the SLC in scoring (15.6 ppg.), three-point field goal percent (38.0), and three-point field goal percent (29.4).  Mireia Yespes is also averaging in double figures (10.5 ppg.) and ranks fourth in the SLC with a 50.0 field goal percent.  Julia Puente leads McNeese with 5.3 rpg.
 
Texas A&M-CC (14-7, 7-3 SLC) enters the game ranked third in the league following its 70-67 road loss at Nicholls Thursday night.
 
The Islanders lead the series 14-9 and have won seven of the last eight matchups including the last three.  TAMU-CC defeated McNeese 83-63 in Corpus Christi, Texas on Jan. 18 in the first meeting this season.
