Fans are invited to attend the Lake Charles Toyota Tailgate Experience free of charge on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Legacy Center as part of the 2024 Southland Conference Basketball Tournament.

This area will be a great place to corral while waiting to enter the doors for the 5:30 p.m. McNeese vs. Lamar men's basketball semifinal game and against for Wednesday's women's semifinal round and men's championship game.

• The Toyota Tailgate Experience at the Southland Basketball Championships will take place Tuesday 3/12 (Women's quarterfinals/Men's Semifinals) and Wednesday 3/13 (Women's Semifinals/Men's Championship) from 11a to 4p

• The event is open to the public and fans of all universities.

• Live music performances include: The Justin Martindale Trio followed by LaCour (Tuesday) and Frayed Soul followed by Stalemate (Wednesday)

• Food options include free hotdogs from Lake Charles Toyota as well as a great selection of food trucks including Southern plate lunch fare from JJ's Jammin' Food, cookies and cakes from Goodies 2 Geaux, Cowboy Cone snow cones to cool things down, fresh handmade churros from The Churros Boutique and hot beverages by Travelin' Tom's Coffee
