LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's tennis will host NJIT (New Jersey Institute of Technology) at 10 a.m. this Friday in a non-conference match at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center. The match was recently added to the schedule.
McNeese (14-1) has won its last 12 matches and is coming off a 5-0 home win over Missouri State on Monday.
Three Cowgirls have at least 10 singles wins on the season.
Anastasija Adeikyte its 12-0, while
Emma-Lou Pommiers is 12-1 and
Tiana Fox is 10-1 on the year. The Cowgirls' No. 1 doubles team of Adeikyte and
Arina Gamretkaia is currently 14-1 on the year.
NJIT (11-2) is an affiliate of the Southland Conference and will head to Lake Charles ranked 70
th in the nation by the ITA. The Highlanders recently had their 10-match winning streak snapped with a 4-3 loss at Incarnate Word on Tuesday. NJIT will play at Lamar today in a SLC match.
