LAKE CHARLES – McNeese softball returns to Southland Conference play Thursday and Friday with a three-game series at Northwestern State. First pitch Thursday is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday's doubleheader is slated for 1 p.m. All games will stream on ESPN+.
McNeese (20-13, 5-1 SLC) will carry a five-game winning streak into Natchitoches following a 3-2 road win at South Alabama on Tuesday.
NW State (14-20, 2-7 SLC) was picked to finish sixth in the preseason poll. The Lady Demons are coming off a 2-1 SLC series loss at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi where they won the second game of the series 7-4.
