THIBODAUX, La. –

The Cowboys sit at 29-25, 11-13 in Southland Conference play while Nicholls is 34-20, 16-8 in the SLC ahead of the SLC Championship Tournament.

After taking a 3-0 lead in the second inning, the Cowboys held the lead the entire way, scoring in each of the third, fourth, fifth, and ninth innings after. McNeese outhit the Colonels 15-8, the 45
th game of the season the Pokes have earned six or more hits.
Redshirt junior
Cameron LeJeune threw five innings without permitting an earned run charged to him, striking out six batters, just two shy of his season high. LeJeune exited the game in the ninth while tallying his seventh victory of the season. Senior
JT Moeller closed out the game for his second save of the season.
The Cowboys await the conclusion of all Southland Conference games to determine where they will be seeded for the SLC Baseball Championship Tournament but currently sit as the fifth seed.
