WBB: Kennedy Adds UNO Transfer Kyla Davis To 2024-25 Roster

LAKE CHARLES--  McNeese head women's basketball coach Lynn Kennedy concluded his 2024-25 signing class with the addition of New Orleans transfer Kyla Davis.
 
Davis is a 5-9 guard from Fort Worth, Texas who will have one year of eligibility remaining.
 
"Kyla brings some valuable experience to our backcourt," said Kennedy.  "She is a complete player that has the ability to be a lockdown defender and she's already hit big shots in the Southland.  We are excited she will be a Cowgirl."
 
2023-24 (Jr.)
- Played in 15 games, started in one
- Averaged 1.5 ppg. and 6.5 minutes per game
- Credited with eight rebounds, five steals, and three assists
 
2022-23 (Soph.)
- Played 21 games with 3 starts
- Averaged 2.7 PPG
- Scored a season-best 12 points against HCU on 12/31
- 10.0 minutes per game (season-high 25 minutes played at UTEP)

2021-22 (Fr.)
- Averaged 7.1 PPG
- 22.5 MPG in 22 games played
- Seven double-digit games
- Season best 17 points against UIW

2020-21 (COVID Season)
- 18 games played with four starts
- Scored a career-high 18 points against Northwestern State (1/27/21)
- Hit a season/career-best six field goals and five three's in victory over Northwestern State
- Averaged 4.1 ppg., 1.6 rpg. and 0.6 spg.

- Played at L.D. Bell High School
- Competed with the varsity program for four seasons
- Also Played on the DFW Elite EYBL Club for one year
