• McNeese was narrowly out shot 10-7 with the Tigers owning seven shots on goal as the Cowgirls collected five.

Jackie Kelly posted six shots in the net compared to the Tigers' three.
• Both squads got competitive during the 90 minutes on the pitch with four yellow cards each.
• The Cowgirls earned their first victory two matches in after having to wait four matches in 2023.

Kaile Kukaua earned her first goal of the season (eighth in her career) to put the Pokes up 1-0 in the eighth minute of action, assisted by
Alexi Pitt.
• JSU's Kendyl Terrell scored in the 34
th minute of action to bring the game to a draw off an assist from Kyla Gomez.
•
Isabelle Smith made her first goal of the season meaningful, ultimately being the game-winning goal off a dish from Cass Romero.
