McNeese opens up its home football schedule on Saturday against Southern at 7 p.m.
 
Here's what fans need to know when attending this weekend's events:
 
Friday, August 30
• Tailgate opens at noon on Friday and will close at noon on Sunday. All RVs and tailgate setups must be off site by that time on Sunday.
• Friday night's Cowboy Block Party has been moved inside the Legacy Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the band, Three Thirty Seven will start playing at 7:15 until 10:30 p.m. Free admission. Bring your lawn chairs and drinks. $1 beer will be sold and food trucks will be set up outside for food sales.

Cowboy Stadium Rules
• All persons must have a ticket for admission
• No re-entry
• No smoking in the seating area
• All persons entering the facility are subject to search
• No Coolers, ice chests, bottles, can cups or containers of any kind
• No bags and purses larger than 4.5in x 6.5 in, unless it is a clear bag and cannot exceed 12in x 6in x 12in.
• No outside food and drinks
• No umbrellas
• No baby Strollers
• No pets of any kind except for service animals
• No video cameras
• No weapons of any kind-including guns, knives, multi-function tools and any item deemed inappropriate
• No banners Flags Poles projectiles of any kind and or any obtrusive obstructive signage
• No throwing of objects from stands
• No portable cooling or heating devices
 
Clear Bag Policy
• Approved clear bag sizes:
        Clear tote (plastic, vinyl or PVC and may not exceed 12" x 6" x 12")
        Storage bag (1-gallon re-sealable clear plastic freezer bag)
        Small clutch purse (no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap)
        Diaper bags are allowed but will be searched.
• Prohibited bags:
        Large purses, backpacks, duffel bags, fanny packs, drawstring bags, camera bags, non-clear/printed pattern totes
