 LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball (3-5), coming off a straight set win over Florida A&M last Saturday on the final day of the Cowgirl Classic, returns home Tuesday to host Tarleton State (1-7) at 1 p.m. at the Legacy Center.  Admission is free and the first 50 fans will receive a Taco, courtesy of Rosita's #2.  The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
 
MATCH NOTES
• It's the first ever meeting between the two teams
Cowgirls (3-5) are coming off a 1-1 showing at its own Cowgirl Classic last weekend with its win coming in straight sets against Florida A&M.  McNeese opened tournament play with a five set loss to Incarnate Word.
• Megan Grose had an outstanding tournament, recording a triple double (17 kills, 26 assists, 15 digs) against UIW and a double double (14 assists, 16 digs)
• Grose continues to lead the Cowgirls in assists (170) and aces (7)  
• McKenzie Moore leads the team with 105 kills and 25 blocks
• Bailey Tillman has a team best 122 digs and is currently fifth in McNeese career digs with 1,489
• Tarleton State enters the match with a 1-7 record
• The Texans picked up their first win of the season last Friday with a 3-1 win over New Mexico at the Northern Arizona Lumberjack Classic then fell to Northern Arizona in straight sets on Saturday.
