NACOGDOCHES, Texas--  McNeese volleyball closed out the Stephen F. Austin Tournament Saturday with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-14) loss to Stephen F. Austin. 
 
The loss drops the Cowgirls to 4-8 on the year while the win puts the Lumberjacks at 8-5 on the season.
 
McNeese will begin Southland Conference play next Saturday, Sept. 28 at Texas A&M-Commerce.  The Cowgirls will host Southeastern on Thursday, Oct. 3 in its SLC home opener.
 

POST MATCH NOTES
• McKenzie Moore led the Cowgirls with 12 kills and for the third straight match is the only Cowgirl to record double figure kills
• Two players recorded double figure digs
• Bailey Tillman led all players with 11 digs
• Kendall Osgood also recorded double figure digs with 10
• Osgood was named to the all-tournament team
• Lacie Schooley led the Cowgirls with nine assists
• Stephen F. Austin out blocked McNeese 18-3
• The Cowgirls ended the match with a .056 hitting percent while the Lumberjacks hit .337 on the day
