LAKE CHARLES—McNeese volleyball will open Southland Conference action this Saturday when the Cowgirls travel to Commerce, Texas to face Texas A&M-Commerce for a 1 p.m. match that will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
For McNeese (4-8, 0-0 SLC), it will be the Cowgirls only match of the week as they look to snap a three-match losing streak.
 
Texas A&M-Commerce (5-9, 2-0 SLC) will be playing its third match this week after opening conference play at Northwestern State on Tuesday followed by a Thursday home match against UIW.
 

MATCH NOTES
• It's the SLC opener for the Cowgirls
• Cowgirls will look to snap a three-match losing streak following its 0-3 showing at the Stephen F. Austin Tournament last weekend
• McNeese holds a 5-0 record against the Lions and won both matches last season.
