LAKE CHARLES- McNeese first year head women's tennis coach Sonia Carlson has announced the signing of Naomi Hagi, who will be a member of the 2025-26 Cowgirl squad.
 
"I am thrilled to welcome Naomi to our program next fall," said Carlson. "From our very first conversation, it was clear she has the right mentality and everything I am looking for. She's ready to work hard, excel in the classroom, and represent the Blue and Gold with pride. I'm confident Naomi will make a tremendous impact on our team."
 
The native of Hong Kong, China, Naomi is the sister of current Cowgirl tennis player Erica Hagi who is in her first season with the Cowgirls.
