LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's basketball (7-10, 2-4 SLC) will conclude its three-game homestand against Lamar (11-4, 6-0 SLC) Saturday in its Battle of the Border.  Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. at the Legacy Center.  The game will broadcast live on ESPN+.
 
The Cowgirls, who are coming off a 91-49 home loss against Stephen F. Austin on Thursday, will look to snap its two-game losing streak.
 
Lamar, the preseason favorite, is one of two undefeated teams in league play entering Saturday's game.  The Cardinals will carry a six-game winning streak into Lake Charles and are coming off a 67-53 road win at Nicholls on Thursday.
