LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's basketball (7-11, 2-5 SLC) returns to the hardwood this Saturday, Jan. 25 at UTRGV (9-10, 4-4 SLC) following an altered schedule during the week due to weather conditions. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. in Edinburg, Texas. The game will broadcast live on ESPN+ as well as Talk Radio 1470 AM with Bruce Merchant calling the action.
The Cowgirls were scheduled to play at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Thursday night, but that game has been moved to Monday, Jan. 27 beginning at 4:30 p.m.
McNeese will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak with all three losses coming at home against Nicholls, Stephen F. Austin, and Lamar.
The Vaqueros, who are in their first season in the SLC will look to snap a two-game losing streak after falling 67-64 at Houston Christian last Saturday.
