LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's basketball (8-12, 3-6 SLC) returns home Saturday, Jan. 30 to host Incarnate Word. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. The game is one of three home games in the Cowgirls next four games and it will be the only regular season game against the Cardinals this season.
Thursday's game is Teacher Appreciation Night. All Calcasieu Parish teachers can attend the game by purchasing a $5 General Admission ticket with a valid ID.
McNeese will look to continue its momentum after snapping a four-game losing streak with a 59-54 road win at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Monday. The Cowgirls will be without sophomore guard
Azjah Reeves Thursday night, who will be serving a one-game suspension issued by the Southland Conference following her ejection in the first quarter of the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi game on Monday.
UIW (11-8, 6-4 SLC) enter the game tied for fifth place in the SLC standings, which is where they were picked to finish in the preseason poll. The Cardinals who are 2-6 on the road this season, have won four of last five games and are coming off a 58-55 road win at New Orleans on Monday
