LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's basketball (6-8, 1-2 SLC) will travel to Houston Christian (4-9, 1-3 SLC) Thursday, Jan. 9 for its third straight Southland Conference road game.  Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. at Sharp Gym.

The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and fans can also listen to the game on Talk Radio (1470 AM) with Bruce Merchant on the call.
 
The Cowgirls are coming off their first SLC win of the season, a 64-55 win at East Texas A&M last Saturday.
 
HCU enters the game having lost its last four games and are coming off a 69-29 road loss at Lamar on Saturday.
 
Paris Guillory, who is coming off her first double double of the season, continues to lead the Cowgirls in scoring with 16.6 ppg.  Guillory has scored in double figures in all five games since joining the team Dec. 8
 
The Cowgirls enter the game leading the SLC in rebounds (41.3 rpg.) and is led by Mireia Yespes, who is pulling down 7.4 per game which ranks her fourth in the league.
