LAKE CHARLES--  McNeese volleyball returns home Saturday, Oct. 18 to host East Texas A&M in an 11 a.m. match at the Townsley Law Arena.  The match is the first of three straight home matches for the Cowgirls.
 
Fans attending the match are asked to park at F.K. White Middle School (see map below) which is located East of the Townsley Law Arena due to football's home game against Houston Christian.
 
McNeese is coming off a straight set road win over Northwestern State on Wednesday to improve to 6-13 overall and 2-5 in the SLC.  East Texas A&M picked up a straight set home win over Nicholls on Wednesday.  The Lions enter Saturdaty's match 5-13 overall and 3-4 in the SLC.

• The Cowgirls will play six of its final nine regular season matches at home including three straight beginning with Saturday's game against East Texas A&M.
 
• Are coming off a straight set road win over Northwestern State on Wednesday that snapped a four-match losing streak
 
• Head coach Sasha Karelov picked up her 50th career win at Northwestern State on Oct. 15.
 
• Kayla Wilson leads the team with 188 kills and has recorded double figure kills in the last six matches including a season high 22 kills against Lamar on Oct. 9.  Wilson ranks third in the SLC with 4.25 kills per set in conference matches.
 
• Ava Henry leads the team with a .273 hitting percent and is third on the team in kills (148) and second in blocks (35).
 
• Kinga Ziolkowska leads the team in assists (372) and service aces (17)
 
• D'Nari Mills is second on the team with 174 kills and is second on the team with 159 digs
 
• Jordan Gamble leads the team with 38 blocks.
 
• McNeese opened the SLC schedule with its first four matches on the road
 
• McNeese returns three players from last season (seniors Kayla Wilson and Lauren Fuller and sophomore Corynne Hausler).
 
• The 2025 roster consists of 15 newcomers including eight freshmen.
