LAKE CHARLES-- McNeese volleyball returns to action this weekend when they will head to Lamar on Thursday and Stephen F. Austin on Saturday for two Southland Conference matches. The road matches are two of the final three regular season road matches for the Cowgirls.
Saturday's match will be the only match streamed on ESPN+ this week.
McNeese (6-16, 2-8 SLC) is coming off a home loss against UTRGV and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi last weekend.

McNEESE NOTES
• McNeese will take to the road this weekend for matches at Lamar (Thursday) and Stephen F. Austin (Saturday). The road matches mark two of the last three left on the schedule this season. The other road match remaining is at Nicholls on Nov. 8.
• McNeese will look to snap a three-match losing streak following home losses against East Texas A&M and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi last weekend.

Sasha Karelov picked up her 50th career win at Northwestern State on Oct. 15.

Kayla Wilson continues to lead the team in kills (233) and has recorded double figure kills in the last nine matches including a season high 23 against East Texas A&M on Oct. 18. Wilson ranks third in the SLC with 4.08 kills per set in conference matches.

Ava Henry leads the team with a .279 hitting percent and 44 blocks. She is third on the team in kills (179).

Kinga Ziolkowska leads the team in assists (397) and service aces (18)

D'Nari Mills is second on the team with 189 kills and 184 digs

• Enter the match 14-11 overall and is tied for fourth place in the SLC with a 7-3 record.
• Are on a seven-match winning streak
• Defeated McNeese 3-1 in Lake Charles on Oct. 9 in the first meeting of the season.
McNeese leads the series 27-12 but the Cardinals have won two of the last three meetings including the one in Lake Charles on Oct. 9

• Enter Thursday's match at Nicholls tied for first place in the SLC with UTRGV with a 14-7 overall record and 9-1 conference record.
• Only conference loss was a home match against Incarnate Word on Oct. 18 where the Cardinals won in five sets.
