Armstrong spent last season as an assistant at Baylor and before then, was the head coach at Link Academy where he guided his team to a national championship. Armstrong spent five seasons at LSU (2018-2022) as an assistant coach then associate head coach with Wade. Prior to joining the LSU staff, he coached 11 seasons at Ole Miss.
