TEMPE, Ariz—McNeese women's basketball will conclude its five game road stretch this weekend by taking part in the Arizona State Briann January Classic on Friday and Saturday.

McNeese (5-2) will play host Arizona State (8-0) at 7:30 p.m. (CST) on Friday before concluding the road trip with a 1 p.m. (CST) game against Nevada (4-4).  It will be the first time McNeese and Arizona State meet and the second meeting against Nevada.  McNeese defeated Nevada 90-80 on Dec. 20, 1992, in Reno, Nevada.

The Arizona State game will stream on ESPN+ while the Nevada game will not be streamed on any platform.  Both games will have live stats.

The Cowgirls have won four of their last five games including a 67-52 win at Utah Tech on Tuesday.

Arianna Patton continues to lead McNeese in scoring with 13.3 ppg..  Jalencia Pierre, who missed Tuesday's game due to an injury is averaging 10.2 ppg.  Pierre is expected to be back for the weekend.

The Cowgirls have three players pulling down at least five boards per game.  Lexi Alexander and Dakota Howard lead the way with 5.9 per contest.  Tyreona Sibley is coming off the bench to average 5.7 per game.
