LAKE CHARLES – McNeese football head coach Matt Viator announced is 2025 high school signing class on Wednesday with all 13 players coming from Louisiana and Texas schools.
The 13 join the 14 mid-year December signing class to bring the total number to 27.
Of the ones signed on Wednesday, four are defensive backs, two defensive ends, two wide receivers, one each at quarterback, offensive line, running back, linebacker and tight end.
The overall class position numbers include nine defensive backs (five safeties and four corners), three offensive linemen, two each of quarterbacks, wide receivers, tight ends, defensive ends, linebackers and long snappers, and one each running back, defensive line and punter.
McNeese will kick-off its 2025 spring practice schedule on March 11 and will conclude with the spring game on April 12.
