LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's tennis (13-3) returns to the court Tuesday, March 18 to host Tarleton State (9-3) at 2 p.m. on Senior Day.
 
Senior Ariane Monlleo Sanchis will be honored 10 minutes prior to the match.  Sanchis is a two-time All-SLC selection (2023, 2024) and was named to the SLC All-Academic team in 2023 and the SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2022 and 2023.  She enters the match with 56 career wins including 39 career singles victories.
 
The Cowgirls, winners of 13 of their last 15 matches haven't played a match since their 7-0 SLC win over Incarnate Word on March 10.
 
The match will also be a sort of a reunion for Cowgirl head coach Sonia Carlson who spent the previous four years as an associate head coach at Tarleton State where she helped the Texans to a WAC championship and tournament title appearance in 2023 and 2024.
 
SCHEDULE UPDATE
McNeese has added a match against New Mexico State this Thursday, March 20 at 2 p.m. Also, the conference match against Lamar that was previously postponed has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m.
