LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's tennis (12-2, 0-1 SLC) will look to pick up its first Southland Conference win of the season when the Cowgirls end their road trip with an 11 a.m. match at UTRGV on Monday, March 3.
The Cowgirls are coming off 4-3 loss at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday in its SLC opening match.
UTRGV (3-3, 1-0 SLC) defeated Southeastern 6-1 on Saturday in its conference opener.
McNeese will return home for a 1 p.m. match against Lamar on Saturday, March 8 and an 11 a.m. match against UIW on Monday, March 10.
Salome Fluri leads the Cowgirls with an 11-2 singles record while
Ana Hollweg and Arian Monlleo Sanchis is 10-3.
Salome and
Stella Rundova have the best doubles record at 8-2 on the year.
