McNeese adds 28 mid-year and portal signings

McNeese football signed 21 players out of the portal to go along with the seven already enrolled from the December signing period to bring the number of signees to 28.

The class includes 16 players from the defensive side of ball and 12 on offense. Breaking it down more on defense: eight defensive linemen, four safeties, two linebackers and one cornerback. For the offense, four wide receivers were signed, three offensive linemen, three running backs, one quarterback and one tight end.
