LAKE CHARLES-  McNeese women's tennis doubles team comprised of Ana Hollweg and Elena Morales advanced to the semifinal round of 2026 Southland Conference Individual Tennis Championship Friday with their 6-4, 6-7, 10-5 win over Rhea Makesar and Mirka Delaney of UTRGV.

The Cowgirls duo will face SFA's Avery Kinsey and Juliane Koschinski at 12 p.m. Saturday morning at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center.

The Cowgirls single player and the reigning women's singles champion Salome Flu will see her first action of the tournament when she takes on SFA's Ana Paula Chavez at 10 a.m. Saturday morning in the semifinal round.  Chavez advanced to the semifinal round following her 7-5, 6-0 quarterfinal win over UTRGV's Luna Buijtenhuijs. 

The tournament runs through Sunday with the singles finals slated for 10 a.m. and the doubles finals set to begin at 12 p.m.
