Â
Martin led the Cowboys at Texas A&M with an 8k time of 24:02.7, the sixth-fastest 8k in the league for the season.

The Cowboys will enter the meet ranked No. 9 in the latest USTFCCCA South Central Region. SFA, who was picked to win the meet in the preseason poll, is ranked third followed by UIW at No. 6 and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at No. 8.
Â
Following the conference meet, qualifiers will have the opportunity to compete at South Central Regional meet hosted by Texas A&M.

The top two teams from each region will then automatically qualify for the NCAA Championship meet, along with the first four additional individuals. To complete the championship field, the NCAA DI Cross Country Subcommittee then chooses 14 at-large teams based on regional and season performances.
