LAKE CHARLES—McNeese women's tennis (2-0) returns home Monday, Feb. 2 to host Lubbock Christian in a 10 a.m. match at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center.  The match will be the final home match for the Cowgirls until its March 7 Southland Conference home opening match against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
 
The Cowgirls will look to remain undefeated on the season following its home win against Alcorn last Wednesday and its road win at Sam Houston last Friday.
 
McNeese has won 11 of its last 12 home matches dating to last season where they posted a 10-1 home record.
 
Sophomore Salome Fluri will look to continue her winning streak to 22 matches dating back to last season.  Fluri's last singles loss came at Central Arkansas on Feb. 2, 2025.
 
COWGIRL NOTES
• Are 2-0 on the season
• Coming off a 5-2 road win at Sam Houston last Friday
• McNeese has won 11 of its last 12 home matches since last season.  Posted a 10-1 home record in 2025.
• Sophomore Salome Fluri extended her singles winning streak to 21 matches dating back to last season with her win at Sam Houston.
• Fluri's winning streak is currently the NCAA's longest winning streak.  Her last loss was on Feb. 2, 2025, at Central Arkansas.
